Do you sell extended wheel studs or lug bolts?

We do not currently offer extended wheel studs or lug bolts. If your setup requires them, extended wheel studs or lug bolts can be sourced locally or online.

When are extended studs or lug bolts needed?

Extended wheel studs or lug bolts are required when you use a slip-on style spacer that is too thick for your factory hardware. Your lug nuts need a minimum of 6 to 8 full threads of engagement to be considered safely installed.

• Trucks: The likelihood you will need extended studs or lug bolts increases once the spacer is thicker than 0.375 inches.
• Cars: Extended studs or lug bolts are typically needed once the spacer or adapter is thicker than 6mm.

Is there a way to avoid needing extended studs?

Bolt-on spacers attach to your vehicle's hub with their own set of studs, so your wheels mount to the spacer instead of your factory studs. Spacers less than an inch thick will generally slide right onto your stock studs, while thicker spacers may come with, or require, an additional set of studs.
